I just spent a good 15 minutes going through this list and counting how many I've seen. Partly because I'm a loser and partly because that's what's required when faced with a list like this. The upside of making it so big is that you can pretty much avoid arguments about what's on it (though Clueless but no Fast Times? And Serpico but no Dog Day Afternoon? And Back To The Future at all? Yes, I love me some Marty McFly, but I love The Cutting Edge and Pretty Woman more and they didn't make the cut.) but the downside is that it's not discerning at all. Try to name a 1000 movies.
